Rhodiola for Joy and Calm. Nourishment you can feel : for Stress Support & Mind + Mood. This is a traditional stress tonic herbal. Build resilience to stress with Rhodiola Root TONIC Extract. Formulated with organic rhodiola root, this adaptogenic extract can relieve mental fatigue and support cognitive function. Rhodiola is one of a class of herbs known as “adaptogens” ~ Rhodiola, is primarily supporting the stress system—i.e., the adrenals and the autonomic nervous system. Rhodiola is one of my favorite herbs for burnout. It not only helps down-regulate the stress hormones, but it also gives a gentle boost to energy without being overstimulating.
Over the winter months (October through April) anyone with a tendency toward seasonal affective disorder will notice massive benefit of protective action against winter depression or SAD when using Rhodiola Root TONIC Extract.
Aid your cognitive function and relieve mental fatigue and weakness, as well as stress with our Rhodiola TONIC Extract. Rhodiola is a premier adaptogen.
Rhodiola also relieves anxiety, suppresses cortisol production and provides overall resistance to general stressors. Plant adaptogens have the capacity to guide the physiological processes to start the generalized adaptation process (non-specific resistance) and handle the stressful situation in a more resourceful manner. Rhodiola rosea extract has demonstrated some anti-aging and anti-inflammatory functions in recent studies as well. Rhodiola rosea offers some cardioprotective benefits that are not associated with other adaptogens - including lipid metabolism, atherosclerosis benefit, antioxidant capacities, decreases the risk of cardiological disorders in that it acts with cardioprotective properties. Optimum levels of hormones are crucial for hair growth cycles & follicles to grow and reproduce effectively. As Rhodiola rosea helps in maintaining the hormonal balance in the body, it directly contributes to improved hair health with reduced hair fall concerns.

"Rhodiola rosea L. has a well-established use in the traditional medicinal systems of the Nordic countries, Eastern Europe and Asia, with a reputation for enhancing mental and physical performance, decreasing symptoms of fatigue and depression, increasing work productivity, and providing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, among others. Current research has clearly established R. rosea as a phytomedicinal plant with adaptogenic effects, which is able to enhance the body’s non-specific resilience to physical and mental stresses and normalize its functions. Stress has been associated with an increased incidence of numerous health disorders of the neuroendocrine-immune system, from milder physiological conditions such as a decrease in physical and mental capacity and a sensation of weakness, to more concerning health conditions such as anxiety, depression, fatigue and burnout, cardiovascular and reproductive disfunctions. The long history of medicinal use and the extensive pre-clinical and clinical research into its stimulant and stress-protective properties have undoubtably validated the effectivity of using R. rosea L. to address all the above-mentioned stress-induced conditions and disorders."

Is Rhodiola use suited for anti depressive support in women with breast cance: Studies indicate, yes suited for both triple negative breast cancer & estrogen receptor positive breast cancer.
Rhodiola crenulata induces an early estrogenic response and reduces proliferation and tumorsphere formation over time in MCF7 breast cancer cells - We have previously characterized anti-cancer properties of R. crenulata in aggressive triple negative breast cancer cells, lacking the expression of estrogen receptor. R. crenulata induced transcriptional activity was suppressed.
In estrogen receptor positive breast cancer our results suggest that R. crenulata extract contains estrogenic components, however, continuous treatment leads to decreases in MCF7 cell proliferation, estrogen receptor expression levels and tumorsphere formation.
